Pyrotechnica AWE32 Soundtrack - 7th April, 2012
This is the first soundtrack I've uploaded from the Creative Sound Blaster AWE32's wavetable synthesis, but Pyrotechnica seems to make it sound pretty good. The soundtrack was recorded from the S/PDIF out on my AWE32 (CT3900), so they're noise-free and have a sampling rate of 44100Hz.

Unfortunately, the AWE32 seems to run into poly problems at times. I tried both AWE32 drivers offered by Pyrotechnica, but they both resulted in the same thing. I can only assume it's either the AWE32's fault, or both drivers in the game have this 'bug'.

TFX Updates - 4th April, 2012
Quite a big update this one. I've spent the last couple of days going through the TFX tracks and checking any bugs that may have ended up in them. Seems a few tracks in each version had either stuck notes or incorrect panning - this has now been fixed, and I've also got the jingles during flight recorded and added into both versions. I've also changed the tags on some of the tracks to follow the file names Barry originally gave them in the editor.

A shame I'm struggling to get the AdLib/Sound Blaster version recorded. The LAPC-I and SCC-1 versions are now 100% complete as far as I'm aware, so go grab them!

New soundtracks - 3rd April, 2012
Prophecy 1: The Viking Child's AdLib/Sound Blaster soundtrack is now available. It was recorded with the same card used for Pyrotechnica, the Sound Blaster 16 CT1740. Speedball 2's ingame music is also available, recorded from the Roland CM-32L.

I'm currently updating the TFX soundtracks, after finding two tracks from the LAPC-I soundtrack have broken panning (Maritime and Intercept) and there's some missing jingles that I'm not sure made it into the final game.

A couple of incomplete soundtracks have been added as well - Nascar Challenge and Stunts. Stunts is missing the intro music (seems to be broken in all versions) while I'm sure Nascar Challenge has more than two tracks.
New soundtrack - 17th March, 2012
Another quick update. Hero Quest has been replaced with the original version, containing 3 tracks. The ingame track doesn't play the correct instruments in the game, so the proper one has replaced it. The other two tracks, being the title and select character theme, never even made it into the final game.
New soundtrack - 11th March, 2012
A quick update with a new soundtrack - Prophecy 1: The Viking Child, composed by Barry Leitch, recorded from my Roland CM-32L.
Big update, new domain! - 9th March, 2012
Welcome to the new, big update! The website is now called LA32, in dedication to the synthesizer chip found in the MT-32 and it's later modules. The Cosmic-Dreams domain was bought almost six years ago, and it's original purpose was completely different, so I've decided that the domain can rest in peace when it expires at the end of this year, and that la32.co.uk will live on. Not only is the new domain cheaper, but it better suits my likes, considering how much Roland MT-32 and CM-32L music I have and how much I listen to it on a daily basis. The domain name idea came from ym2149.com, which is owned by Stefan.

Right, more content! As you may have noticed, there's two new pages and one's been renamed. MIDI Recordings was renamed to MS-DOS, and the two new ones are Yamaha XG and Tracker, as I have an interest in the music from those as well. Everything under Tracker is recorded from the original software using my Gravis Ultrasound MAX. Everything under Yamaha XG is recorded from my MU10, will upload some MU100 stuff at a later date. Again, this is ALL FLAC. I don't expect to update the Tracker page often, since my GUS only has 1MiB of RAM, and I haven't spent much time looking for new music modules on The Mod Archive recently.

Two new soundtracks available on the MS-DOS page! Pyrotechnica recorded from my old rev Sound Blaster 16 (has a real YMF chip and even a physical volume control), and Team Suzuki from the Roland CM-32L, one of Barry Leitch's older works.

Enjoy the new music!
